No one ever cared about Gaga in this movie except for Gaga stans. This sequel was anticipated because the first movie was widely successful and beloved, you can thank Joaquin Phoenix and his performance for that. As always Gaga needed another, bigger artist to hype her up, it's the story of her career at this point
