And the thoughtfulness and thematic cohesion in their designs. Glaceon, Leafeon and especially Sylveon are embarassing attempts to recapture the original magic. And anything that can Tera with those stats & Quiver Dance is good. Mega Pinsir was fast, had STAB priority, & hit hard. So ha typing didn't matter as much.
