Hozier was able to solidify a small but loyal fanbase after TMTC, he has never struggled to sold out his theatre tours even without charting hits.

 

In the past few years, he has enjoyed some popularity on Tiktok and now his music is finally seeing the perks of it.

If Beautiful things hits #1 next week it'll be this years 8th new #1 songs. Below is the number of new #1's each year by next weeks time.

 

2024: 8 (Assuming Beautiful Things hits #1 next week)

2023: 4 (ended year with 17 new #1 songs)

2022: 3 (ended year with 12 new #1 songs)

2021: 6 (ended year with 17 new #1 songs)

2020: 3 (ended year with 20 new #1 songs)

 

It'll be interesting to see what total new #1's well have this year. Especially seeing as Too Sweet seems to be aiming for #1 any week, Metro Boomin & Future have another album dropping April 12th, and Taylor's album coming April 19th.

Hope Benson can get it for a week!  He so deserves it, Beautiful Things is such a great song and such a global smash.

 

And hope Hozier can get a week too before the Taypocalypse.  The charts are heating up!

His streaming from the album release boost also dropping after friday/saturday. + with Sunday update the drop are double than usual. The same thing happen with J.Cole album tracks.

he should recover a bit in monday:coffee2:
