itsjokesta Posted April 13 Posted April 13 My only upset this era is her lack of promo. Makes me wonder if her label would ever encourage her to drop her father next album cycle. 🤔 2
kayliah Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Expresso by sabrina is way above her on the US spotify, she has that it girl factor and people are more interested in her than dua although she benefitted from better playlisting and instant radio spamming. Something to ponder about? I'll definitely stream radical optimism and listen to the whole album in 1 sitting to try and see what the end goal is here. This is a career slump though. She needs to reinvent herself quickly in November next year big time with new everything:sound, aesthetics and image. 2 1

Love Sab, but she benefited from multiple sources of exposure in the past couple of years.

Dont you think that maybe Warner is happy how she is performing and dont care about instant charts positions and if they were not they could literally push her anywhere if they and she wanted to?

You missed my point. Promo is important for album drops. Which is what's lacking. I simply stated that I wish she would preform more. Imagine the album coming out and not even cracking the top five due to lack of promotion. Warner sees Dua as a cash cow like every other record label sees their artists. It's not kumbaya. They sign people to profit off of. 1
Relampago. Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I am only disappointed in the lack of promo because she's clearly a better performer now so I want to see more. As far as profit, she's still Dua Lipa with songs doing well globally and having consistent streams, and a tour that will inevitably do well. People acting like her career is on death's door are either trolling or dramatic. If Warner were to actually drop Dua because Radical Optimism wasn't an FN sized era, she would be snatched up by another label within days

Yeah and if they knew album will not be successful based on what is happening for last 6 months they would push her to promote it everywhere, but clearly they are good and miss Dua as well. Im happy with Grammys and Brits, we have another 2 years in ahead of us of RO era, so we will have enough to enjoy don't worry ;)
LostInStereo100 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I don't know why, I haven't enjoyed her last three songs I used to love her older music. I hope there are bops on the album

I hope we get soon SNL, a Late NIght performance at least she is slaying awards perfomances any big award show coming until the VMAS, Im also exited for her Glastonburry, Dua will find a way to promote this album lets trust her
Post Malone Posted April 13 Posted April 13 My only complaint is that the production kinda gives you all it's got with the first verse and chorus, there's no new elements introduced with the next choruses (prominent ones at least) or even adlibs like I couldn't tell the choruses apart from each other 1
