omrimayo Posted April 12 Posted April 12 It's nice, all 4 are nice songs, but non of them is on FN level, I mean not even close sadly.

It's getting so tired. fire the choreographer! Yeah she needs to fire the choreographer. Tho she's not the best of dancers sl maybe she feels comfortable with them

MALAMENTE Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I like the song, I think more so than Training Season, but less than Houdini as of today 1
State of Grace. Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Houdini's choreo was the only good one this era tbh. There's a reason it went VIRAL
Magickarp Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Made this my avi on the hetero forums i use. Someone's gotta promote the vacation songstress to the GP. How am i gonna make sure their first listen is the superior extender version though. TS would not have flopped if it was the extended getting the focus! + a Physical workout MV.
Post Malone Posted April 12 Posted April 12 The chorus is terrible she sounds like a one note robot I can't believe this Mabel type of music is a single and #1 on TTH over songs literally doing 7-9M on global spotify steadily for weeks absolutely shameless 7
storminthedark Posted April 12 Posted April 12 She's stuck between a rock and a hard place. If she'd released this after Dance The Night people would've said it's just a retread of FN, but after the first two singles this is now considered too safe. Something isn't clicking for me with this era but she can't please anyone with this kind of attitude towards her music post-FN. It's like Solar Power and Starcrossed after Melodrama and Golden Hour. 1

This hasn't nothing to do with FN, clear your ear. Just because it's dance-pop it doesn't mean it's the same thing. 2

djcalpal Posted April 12 Posted April 12 This is such a sultry club track, I really don't get the hate. It's giving late 90s/early 2000s Kylie in the best way possible. The video is also a visual masterpiece. I agree the visuals / sonics of this era have been a bit disjointed, but as standalone singles I think all 3 of the releases thus far have met the measure and solidified Dua as a weapon in pop music. 3 1
NostalgiawithDua Posted April 12 Posted April 12 It's doing worse than Sabrina song on Apple and iTunes……
Mordecai Posted April 12 Posted April 12 This is a bop! Cool video too Much better than Training Season Can't wait for the album

Magickarp Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Training Season is my 2nd most played 2024 song, & my 1st is Texas Hold Em X The Less I Know The Better mashup. Tame Impala really did THAT. TS was originally ahead, but I kinda overplayed it. It's still a slay whenever i listen to it tho The illusion snippet killed my hype, but the actual song is a slay. A reverse Houdini experience. I hope this smashes & she actually promotes it
Acuminatus Posted April 12 Posted April 12 All three singles are a hit for me, though this song is definitely the safest. I wonder if GP will latch on to this one. As long as Dua keeps giving quality music I don't care if this era isn't a big smash like Future Nostalgia
Solaria Posted April 12 Posted April 12 The negativity in here compared to when it just came out this absolutely does not sound like a standard H&M mall bop. There are subtle elements in this song that set it apart from that. Like the pre-chorus, the bells, the instrumental part towards the end. 7

This would go awf in the club, it's almost similar to One Kiss 1
