For some reason as I opened this thread I felt like you top 3 could be the same as mine and it turns out I was right! The best taste!

My favourite is The Velvet Rope, I think 2 is janet. and then Damita Jo.

Control

Control is one of her more dated albums, but I can't deny how fun it is. He Doesn't Know I'm Alive is such a banger

Janet and the Velvet Rope for sure. My 3rd would be Control for now but sometimes it is Damita Jo.

  1. Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814
  2. The Velvet Rope
  3. janet.

"Come Back to Me" is the first song I remember hearing from Janet, and I fell in love with her then. To this day, I still love it as much as I always have and "Alright" is one of my most favorite songs of all time. As a whole, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 is an incredible album that means a ton to me. The other two albums are just full of songs I love from top to bottom. Listening to those albums, especially, is just a fantastic aural experience.

I love her discography, as a whole, but those are my top three favorite albums from her. That said, there aren't large gaps between my interest in her albums. I love them all fairly equally with Janet Jackson and Dream Street being the bottom two—but still very much liked.
