Bears01
27+ years into her music career, Beyonce has remained one of the most consistently successful and relevant artists: ever. Yet, many ATRLers go out of their way to move the goalposts and find ways to undermine her. Is denying her success at this point a mental Illness? KORDEI
I feel like a lot of her most notorious haters have come around to her compared to when I was a kid on here. I see so many users who were the most vile to her in the SYG days of 2011-2013 rooting for her now Feels like I'm in the twilight zone having not used this site for so many years. I still see ppl hating but it's not hitting like it used to

Brikenbur
It truly does! Whenever she releases new music, aside from the Base and Single threads, seethers love to make loads of "why?” threads and compare Beyoncé up against artists who we generally like. Beyoncé will always be the standard… at least for now and the past two decades Anyway, they love to stay on the overrated train but fail to realize their favs only have a fraction of the talent Bey does.. if that's not Talentry idk what is Edited April 2 by Brikenbur

There was a stan narrative that she was losing power.

Yeah the narrative being heavily pushed was that due to The Gift and the other late 2010s shenanigans her power had dwindled and a whole new generation had popped up who didn't use Bey because they didn't grow up with her hits like they did Katy/Gaga as a throwback. Her streaming was the pits, Hive had been too cocky about The Lion King against A Star Is Born and her remixed #1s weren't considered her own hits. And then Renaissance came and here we are, another 400k+ opening in line with her 2000s numbers
