Taylor's US peak could very well be the biggest of all time in terms of female acts in America. I'm no longer surprised that US-users will say Taylor's peak is the biggest after seeing that peak lol. But I'm also not surprised non-US ATRLers will say Taylor isn't as big as peak-Gaga or peak-Adele. Edited March 25 by BrandNewBrandon

In terms of Google traffic it would be about news stories and Britney's head shaving and hospitalization was such a sensation, hard to compare, with Britney she was so "relevant" but it was a negative kind, people were either mocking her or angry at her of feeling sorry or concerned Rolling Stone called it "the most public downfall of any star ever", she was selling less albums than ever but getting more press than ever. Even in third world countries the newspapers printed Britney stories every day. Edited March 25 by MatiRod 1

Adele's peak is literally Hello. Britney doing whatever in 1999 would've had a huuuuuge spike. Edited March 25 by BrandNewBrandon
Digitalism Posted March 25 Posted March 25 There no reason to bring Madonna or Britney into this because Google wasn't a thing when they peaked 1

If any other star shaved their heads like that it wouldn't be as big of a news-story. It goes hand-in-hand.
satellites.™ Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Google already dropped ALL TIME stats and only Taylor and Beyonce made the list. 5 1 2

Britney was the most searched celebrity on Google globally for the years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. Most of those years were long before the head shaving or hospitalisation In fact there is still no one who has overtook her in the amount of consecutive years she was the #1 most searched celebrity. 1 1
