There was also an article which said there could be original songs as well. 
 

Regarding the soundtrack, that might be the reason Gaga would be releasing a new album because movie won't have new music.

This thing is going to flop badly :hoetenks:

 

If the execs are expecting a jukebox musical led by Lady Gaga to make the same money as the original, which relied heavily on incel straight males, I have a bridge to sell them.
