This choice will either be really good or really bad.

I'm lowkey doubtful if this is gonna work based on the descriptions we have, but I just hope this movie pulls through... somehow :dancehall:

Welp i really enjoyed the original joker but musicals are not my thing. I doubt even the DC fanboys will go out to watch a musical, Goodluck to them

Sounds accurate considering gags is mostly a cover/tribute act since 2013

Joaquin Phoenix starred in Walk The Line which is a biopic and people not only loved it but it had 16 songs in it and didn't feel like too much.

Walk the line was a Johnny Cash biopic, not a super villian movie :rip:

You can't compare.

I just know that there's a Madonna song in there as a cover.

Can't wait for this, it sounds insane! Also how they approved a $200M budget for this!!! This better at least make $500M to break even but I can see all the incels ditching Joker because of the music.

I have a feeling this movie is either going to be a complete dumpster fire or one of the best and most unique sequels ever made, no middle ground.

I am excited either way.

Interesting how the description of the musical elements keeps changing. At one point, they seemed to be downplaying the music.  Hmm. I am still perched

There was an article a few months back on how studios downplay their musicals and try to promote them as regular movies instead of promote them as musicals because musicals have become unpopular with the GP

This feels so random :chick2:

But it will work if we hear Gaga do a cover of Mary Whiton Calkins :jamming:
