On the other hand, Scream 4 is falling off with time and it just serves as bridge between trilogies that isn’t even that much necessary. He sounded very angry and looked at Sam while saying "you die", which seems logical because his daughter just died, but it gets a whole new meaning if you know the reveal. But yes, micro clues were scattered in conversations throughout the movie. - Quinn’s mention of her dead brother - Sam’s being slightly suspicious of Bailey being the detective in charge of their case - Bailey’s preoccupation with Kirby ( FBI being there complicates things more since they are above him ) even though it could have been justified as his genuine concern about Kirby’s motives and intentions ( my friend suspected Kirby because Bailey wanted to gather information on her ) - Mindy casually mentioning how Ethan could have arranged to be roommates with Chad, which Ethan boasted about in the end - Mindy also casually mentioning that Quinn’s slutty girl trope is chef’s kiss for horror, but we might expect her not to be the victim this time actually, because sequel to the requel can subvert anything as we know it Probably some more minutiae, but can’t remember them at the moment. Kirby: “How did you even find this place ( shrine )?” Gale: “How did you not find it?” Since when FBI contracts children? That last remark is good, because some people commented similar thing before even Gale said it. The movie is always one step ahead actually even if doesn’t seem so at first, that’s why it works. I am not sure how many reviews are needed for that and how many of those should be considered fresh ( I think both of those marks are cleared though ), but it should be getting it eventually.
