thinkheknowss Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Really hope they turn this album around… as funny as it is to drag her management etc this album is a great step up from FN , it deserves at least one semi hit or the album to grow legs and at least be stable 2 1
scottstreet Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Not Dua fighting for that #2 debut, I guess the curse has become a blessing this era. 1 11
IBeMe Posted May 8 Posted May 8 This is ALL YOUR FAULTS. This happened because she didnt get the #1 for LEvitating. I have been telling all of you this for like 4 YEARS now or whatever! u guys were sayinh "it's ok! she'll have another #1 with the next era no problem! didn't u see how much she has grown?!?! it's delusional to say she wont have a #1 next era come on now!" and NOW LOOK AT WHAT IS HAPPENONG. DUA IS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE TO GET A #2 peak for the album I told you guys not getting the #1 would kill this fan base momentum to mobalize because we would always think it was pointless This is all billboard's fault for changing the formula last minute and cutting out legitimate sales. They wanted to punish her. BUT this is also the FAN BASES FAULT! you guys didn't do ENOUGH. It will NEVER BE ENOUGH OMG I- 1

(btw...what are the units so far for Radical Optimism if we count 1st week + whatever Houdini, Training Season and Illusion got pre album release?) #1 for 6 weeks in the US it they could book The Weeknd, it would be even better but I'm pretty sure Whatcha Doing is the one 4
Cloudy Posted May 8 Posted May 8 If anything Whatcha Doing is perfect for a Bruno remix He would be perfect to give it that extra touch and adlibs she didn't bother to give it 3
Harrys Hairflip Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I just KNOW there are incredible bops that were cut off and are better than 2/3 of this album, if shes not releasing i hope it leaks like the ones from FN did 5
Crank_It_Up Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I love how there has been basically a meltdown on a daily basis since Houdini was released, but even more exemplified since RO came out. I've been laughing every day because of this thread. 1 1

Papi Juancho Posted May 8 Posted May 8 So, which song is gonna be the Rude Boy of the era: These Walls Happy for SOTY Whatcha Boring HOW LOOOOOOOOONG song
halcyonday Posted May 8 Posted May 8 2 minutes ago, Papi Juancho said: So, which song is gonna be the Rude Boy of the era: These Walls Happy for SOTY Whatcha Boring HOW LOOOOOOOOONG song Happy For You is not happening, not matter how many times Dua performs it. I love the song, but it's a perfectly good closing track, nothing more. Falling Forever is not giving smasha, but it's also a great song. Actually, FF and HFY are two of the most full songs on the album (with some fun adlibs/structure/outro), but they're not single material. It has to be either These Walls with full Save Your Tears (AC radio) push or Whatcha Doing route with a male rapper/singer remix to serve the Levitating of the album. Not sure if they're gonna spend enough $$$ to try both of these songs after the numbers so far. I wouldn't be surprised if they rush her to the studio to record another pure copy of Levitating/Dance The Night to release deluxe ASAP. Whatcha Doing is a great choice, but it doesn't have that pop disco excitement that Levitating/DTN capture. 2

He has a corny throwback vibe now. Like Vegas in its golden days type of thing and idk if the song wants that tbh! The song wants someone that can flow on that beat without making it sound like a throwback jam despite the fact that it does have some old school tinged production. 1

I don't know who else but definitely not Abel nor Doja. I still think the true dark horse that could become a hit is These Walls. 1

These Labias has potential to smash but like @halcyonday said ONLY if the label puts in TONS of money for HAC and AC radio to play it. It could become a We Can't Be Friends type of his with a very VERY strong radio push and a solid music video that's emotional and classy and well executed. But if she serves Coupon Season level budget for the mv and radio then it will not take off sadly. These Labias is the type of song that needs to be choked down peoples throats to REALLY stick. Fingers crossed tho 1
IBeMe Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Maybe Kendrick can hop on the Watcha Doing remix on the week that CaCa releases her Drake collab Now THATs the type of mess that creates fan bases 1 1
Cain Posted May 8 Posted May 8 TW is way catchier than WD and also it's kinda new for her, WD is literally Dance the Physical Me Now (feat DaBaby) 6.0 They should push TW, some features and a re-release single and call it a day 1
