Bradley Cooper's Maestro lost all of its Oscar nominations. Why?

Bradley made this movie for one reason and one reason only. To win an Oscar. Then he made a complete fool of himself during the campaign period multiple times. And still he came up empty handed as the movie lost all 3 of its nominations.

He has also now lost a near record 12 career nominations.

How do you feel about that?

The movie just didn't make a splash this year like Oppenheimer, Barbie, Poor Things and so on. It happens.

At least Katy never publicly talked about showering naked together with her dad. Or cried about missing a guy he never met in front of his kids.

There were 100 Oscar winners in the room, and 99 didn’t vote for him…

She just doesnt have the venacular she thinks she possesses. Somebody lied to her and told her that she was fly, hot, sexy, and beautiful. But she's nothing like that, shes nothing of that sort

It was a pretty awful movie. It got like… 6 nominations more than it merited. Might have deserved to win Make Up and Hairstyling though.

I fear that he learned all the wrong lessons because Gaga was at least hilarious and iconic, his statements, on the other hand...

Maestro is one of the least watched and least talked about movies out of the ones nominated. For multiple reasons, it attracted little interest. Even if his performance was great (which I have no way of knowing since I didn't watch it either), he was never going to beat Oppenheimer, which was much more of an event and had an actual (successful) theatrical release vs. Netflix home page for a week.
