Like if we are going to contextualize differences in the touring market, we might as well do that for Google trends as well. That's totally ******* bull. Whenever someone types anything Taylor-related even when buying the tickets to her concerts is using Google. And way more people buy Taylor albums through websites than in 2010 when most people either bought in stores or through iTunes, neither of which belong to Google. You just can't ******* admit Taylor isn't #1 in every thing, can you? If your logic was correct the Isreal-Palestine crisis would've had less traction than Gaga Google works the same way as it did before and for every iTunes search that didn't incorporate into Gaga's Google traction, there's every Spotify search for Taylor.

In other words, more than nine out of 10 internet users who search for information online do so through Google. The platform has been dominating the search industry for over a decade. From 2010 to 2022, Google's market share dipped below 90% just once—in 2014, to 89.81% The way you just ignore option A) RESEARCH and just choose option B) MOUTH VOMIT AND DOWNVOTE is what's obtuse Edited March 12 by BrandNewBrandon

But you're also forgetting that YouTube was at about the same level it is now in 2010. Bad Romance broke the record for most-watched video ever with over 200 million views which was a phenomenon just like a gigantic smash will nowadays. Anyways, the Google market (as evident in that other comment I posted) hasn't dipped so your argument falls flat and Lady Gaga caused more traction than Taylor because she was slightly bigger than Taylor is now back in 2010. shyboi Posted March 12 Posted March 12 1989 felt massive and like a huge series of events, now, Midnights too but mostly because of the Eras tour and not the music itself
Gladiator Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I voted for 1989 and Midnights, but I think The Fame Monster and Born This Way were much, much higher quality eras compared to 1989 and Midnights.
fossora Posted March 12 Posted March 12 TFM > 1989 BTW > Midnights TFM >>> 1989 > BTW >>> Midnights in conclusion: Gaga
LosingHimWasBlue Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Taylor Sweetie... the difference is with Midnights, Taylor has a new peak of her career. meanwhile, Bradley Cooper's duet partner career starting down two weeks after BTW release
