Did she leave RCA or is this just for latin music releases moving forward at the end of the day both labels are sony music.

To be honest, this doesn't seem like a good move. This is a small label. She needed a label like Republic Records or the label Miley Cyrus signed with. She should be a major pop girl again but it seems like it's just not an option for her any more. She's the pop girl with the most talent but it seems like no label wants to invest in her or perhaps she doesn't want to be a huge pop girl any more

Oh crap, so it was true after all. Well, it sucks because even though RCA is ****, at least would have a decent budget for her material. It's odd she would leave them to join a small record label considering her extended commercial underperformance one could think she'd be more strategic and switch labels to help her relaunch her career.

I think ageism plays a big factor as well. Beyonce and to a smaller extent Shakira are the only two active pop girls over 40 getting big commercial success still.
