Xtripped Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Finally! Alicia, Kelly C, Sia, Avril all left RCA, what a shitty label. I'm glad Xtina did it too, it was a toxic relationship lbh, they didn't have to pay for studio time since she have her own studio and she didn't have to release music. 1
prézli Posted March 6 Posted March 6 RCA is the worst Sony label. But she doesn't like releasing new music, so it was ideal for her.
livelikemusic Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I know it was rumoured prior to the release of Liberation that she was leaving Sony RCA for Universal Capitol. Between poor management (Azoff) and the poor handling of the label (RCA), I am all for her changing things up. 1
leyaris11 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) It's official that RCA label had dropped a multi-Grammy winner -> teacher -> Oreo spokesperson's Christina Aguilera. Why? Edited March 7 by leyaris11 1 4 1
PoisonPill Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Getting dropped from the label may end up being a great thing for her. It feels like she’s getting her fire back! 1 1
The Man Who Posted March 6 Posted March 6 https://www.rcarecords.com/artist/christina-aguilera/ She’s still listed on their website?
KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) I guess they got tired of funding christina’s delusions of being the new karol g Edited March 6 by KatyPrismSpirit 9
schnetzka Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I am not so much sure that she was dropped as she wanted to move to a different label after being on the same one for over 20+ years. 4 1
Walk_Away21 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Who cares if she left or got dropped? I'm praying she's off that dogshit label. Miley finally left them and had one of the biggest hits in H100 history They suck. 2
Phaunzie Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) And the Ionics are happier than ever. Xtina 2.0 is coming girls, 5020 Babeeee. Edited March 6 by Phaunzie 1
suburbannature Posted March 6 Posted March 6 She quite literally can’t even chart albums or singles. No one is surprised a label would drop her after that 3 2 2
Rid Of Me Posted March 6 Posted March 6 It’s the other way around. Xtina dropped them because they have no idea how to manage the woman with the voice of a generation 6 2
