Bimbo Posted March 3 Posted March 3 All live performances of this song having better visual impact than the actual video

poki Posted March 3 Posted March 3 FN was a massive jump from her debut. This one feels like, one step in comparison. And it's been 4 years.
Worm Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Seeing a pop star put some actual effort in is sexy as hell, I'm so over the whole 'too cool/too lazy to try' shtick that most artists are going for these days (Rihanna can pull it off and has hustled for years to get where she is. You can't.) Still love the song, way better than Houdini. Though the chorus is a little similar to the verses, so I get why others might not think it's her best. Well done Dua! My only real critique is that she needs to be more confident in letting the backing track play without her pretending to sing and holding the mic up, because it's obvious as hell when she's just miming the pre-chorus.
Funhouse Posted March 3 Posted March 3 She has genuinely become a good performer, I have to give her props for putting in the work
Scandalous Posted March 3 Posted March 3 her performances this era are ON POINT she’s evolved so much
SinnerCity Posted March 3 Posted March 3 People saying Dua is not a good performer didn't attend the FN tour because that was arguably one of the most fun shows I've ever attended and she's a great live vocalist. 2
♚ PRiNCE HiGH ♚ Posted March 3 Posted March 3 She's at the top of her game when it comes to performing skills. If only the song was better 1

Like a human kaleidoscope and the dance break at the end was great 1
Jay07 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 9 hours ago, Relampago. said: The standard for Dua is kind of crazy cause no one is giving pure pop music of this quality with the performances to back it up I agree that no one is giving the popstar fantasy like her, but she's just not a natural performer and the music is lacking this time, that's all. 2
Lovett Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Fantastic performance and I'm glad they fixed the camera work towards the end!

IBeMe Posted March 3 Posted March 3 She kileld it as usual and her vocals are pristine as always. My one gripe is the costumes this era are very dull. She could have had a red jacket or something to stand out more. Also there were too many dancers on that stage with her. They needed to remove a solid like 4 or something for it to look a little less crowded and avoid drowning her out
LittleStarmen Posted March 3 Posted March 3 9 hours ago, Truth Teller said: Dua herself did great, but I liked nothing else about this. The styling was bad, the lighting and colors were meh, the choreo was limited, the aerialists and their interaction with Dua was anticlimactic and even though their formations were amazing, I couldn't really see them cause they were all wearing black against a dark background. And the song just... ain't it for me. If Physical was a roar, this is a meow. It doesn't give. Also, I kind of felt like the performance didn't showcase her? She was a little lost in all the commotion, almost like she wasn't the star of her own set. Stark contrast to the 2021 Grammy's where she was the only person that mattered on her stage. Anyway maybe I'm nitpicking which is kind of unfair to her cause no one else is even trying to serve spectacle This. Was badly staged and her outfit is too simple Also she should have been flying at some point 1
Hurem Posted March 3 Posted March 3 She absolutely served, but these award shows need to find directors who know their way with music performances, cause the camera work was not it 1
Grizzo Posted March 3 Posted March 3 the “human ball structure” (I don’t know how to call it lmao) closing in on her looked so cool 😍 plus her vocals sounded so strong 💯 great job Dua!! 👏 1

Million Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Do they not rehearse with the camera men? Like how did they miss all the best moments 😕
EnterTheAttic Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Not her finest vocal moment, but she ate nonetheless! She's the best pop star we have right now!
