I think it was because she released 5 singles after the first album and there was a small gap between the last single and emotions lead single. Last single: There's got to be a way May 1991 Lead single: Emotions August 1991 My thing is I am not sure why they couldn't just buy the new stuff. I mean it only peaked top 5 but had hits. It's like with teen pop you strike while the iron is hot but I guess for a pop artist catering to and older audience she needed to wait a bit. Maybe if they changed the single line up: Emotions was perfect lead but maybe follow up with Till the end of time/So blessed then Can't let go and then close with Make it happen.

There's got to be a way was a UK only release. IDWC was released in March so there was a good gap.
