I think the 2027 thing is being a bit taken out of context, she said that if he had asked before when her next album album would be coming out she would have said 2027, but it seemed like she was being semi-facetious and just meaning that she was planning to take a long break and hadn't thought about when she would be returning, not that she had specifically decided to wait until 2027 to release an album.

 

Even if the strike hadn't happened, I doubt she would have waited that long for a new album. She seems to change her mind regarding music and she works quickly, so it's believable to think an album would have come sooner regardless of the circumstance.

Maybe her voice is a little lighter? People's voices tend to sound deeper/lifeless when they are depressed and somewhat apathetic towards the world
