It's more the bad acting and the desperate need for attention than having an emotional response to a song. The 0-100 "emotional breakdown" is so performative and you can tell her friends have seen it 100 times before because they start consoling her before anything happens

Considering the extremes sports fans go to (e.g., flipping cars with people in them, resulting in their deaths, upon their team winning [x]), I'd say this isn't that serious. You can say that it's strange, over the top, or performative without playing armchair psychologist and trying to declare that they must have a mental illness. But there's a lot to be said about behavior where people take their fave's chart performance as an extension of their own identity that I find more concerning than anything like this. Honestly, I'd argue that the need to react to stuff like this is also very strange.
