May I remind you that this is the chart section and if you don't care about commercial performance, then idk what you're doing here. You're wasting your time hun. selena's flop is not the same thing / same drag of people that are only singers. but if you don't get it that's okay, keep posting here. 3 minutes ago, tomo said: Day 3: +1,136,986 (-275,542) more than calm down's 3rd day 977k (it started going viral on it's 5th day) omg 'love on' the smash hit that u are. nnn 5 minutes ago, Rotunda said: No amount of money in the bank will make the song not suck, but if you want to stan on the basis of who has more money then I’m sure you can try to create a stan forum on Forbes or something. it's not exactly about money. it's about being without a doubt a successful person. so seeing people making fun of a person that is, still, without a doubt VERY successful feels kinda pathetic it's different than someone that "was" successful, she built herself an empire where she's allowed to flop and keep herself relevant (not only rich) people can say what they want about the song tho 11 minutes ago, Kimi said: its just that „dragging” commercial performance is so lame and gives 13 yo stan twitter user vibes. and there’s no spin you can do that will make it less cringe, cause at the end, who cares, especially if we’re talking about someone closer to billionaire than to millionaire who doesn’t have to sell a single song ever again. she can release 100 songs that will have similar chart run and it won’t affect her wealth and cultural relevance. when will yall learn that those drags always make you look like a weirdo 1 3

Successful people can still produce bad art. We can certainly comment on how that art is being received by the general public even if she is too rich to have to care about making quality art (which I think is a weird thing to say in defense of your fav on a forum that is largely fixated on discussing art and its quality.) Successful people can also be bad people and if we take your argument to its logical conclusion, any mocking of them is “pathetic” regardless of how warranted it may be. And that’s, to me, a ridiculous standard to set. 1

And that’s, to me, a ridiculous standard to set. well it's not like she's released albums or EPs or entered a musical era. she's released 2 singles. that's it. one was a demo from 2017 and the other one yep, a new pop single. it's not like she doesn't care cuz she's successful, she doesn't care cuz it's not that deep for her in 2024. she can just have fun with it and it's visible that she's only having fun with it. maybe it will be deep in the future again cuz she'll have more things to talk about and then she'll release an artistic body of work, who knows anyway, that's it. great that u know she's successful and if u truly believe she's a bad person i recommend u to take off your stan twitter 'not worried about real problematic people' glasses. bye 2 1

SoldierofLove Posted February 26 Posted February 26 This song was released by Interscope Records, not some independent label that Selena started. So of course the success of the song matters. The delusional gays making excuses “but she’s rich” aren’t making sense. 2

Walk_Away21 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 People are blaming the song, but I think if this was on Emails I Cant Send and sung by Sabrina, it would be a fun pop song like Feather. Selena's vocals have really fallen off. They sound really autotuned here, almost like vocal fry split, lazy, with no enunciation. :/ If she recorded this in like 2016 it would be have been a guilty pleasure bop I fear.
popstyle Posted February 27 Posted February 27 what do u expect from an artist that has shown 0 growth. the sympathy phase is over.
WeWon Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Poor ha. The song is horrible and sounds like another generic mess.
