ariananext Posted February 25 Posted February 25 The drop is not the shocking part, if a song is bad the underperformance is expected, what's baffling is that she can't convince 1% of her following to check out her new song in the first place 1 3

teenager Posted February 25 Posted February 25 that one pressed user downvoting all those posts but it’s just crickets, like their faves music I see 3
Mr. Duff Posted February 25 Posted February 25 This is hilarious and embarrassing The song sucks so it deserves to flop, but I’m also amused at how the Selena fans caved and some even have the audacity to say they don’t care about chart performance when they keep trashing other popstars flopping It is better than Single Soon though, by a miniscule. 2
KatyPrismSpirit Posted February 25 Posted February 25 this flopped and anyone saying otherwise is just ******* delusional lbr. sad because the song is good

Maroonx Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I still dk how this is doing worst than Single Soon... then again, there was no hype/noise with this release, and the song is kinda mehh.
liquiddiamonds Posted February 25 Posted February 25 She was never an artist with her music, but she’s been phoning in HARD with her music career since RARE. People can smell the laziness. You can’t just drop whatever, not promote and expect a hit with the most generic thing ever
Blue Monday Posted February 25 Posted February 25 (edited) All of her biggest hits are collaborations or DJ songs, Lose You To Love Me was clearly propelled on the interest with the Bieber connection because nobody cared to check out the rest of its parent album. Whatever creative juices were flowing during the Revival era have clearly dried up; she hasn’t made music that great since. She needs to find better collaborators who can write and produce better hits for her. Let this be a lesson to her delusional fan base that she’s not that girl they keep telling ATRL she is. BrandNewBrandon Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I don't know what it is about Selena Gomez but she comes across as someone who's not into making music anymore and is just... releasing. Maybe it's the vocals that just aren't that strong and lack substance. Nobody is buying it when she's not even TRYING to sell it. 1
Gaia Posted February 26 Posted February 26 There’s 0 substance to whatever this “era” is. Feels like a cash grab. Her image is very personable but these songs just feel like cheap pop songs (which they are). She needs a song with some sort of emotional connection. Stop with the cheesy D List level pop songs
Deluxe Posted February 26 Posted February 26 love on will be a sleeper hit just like calm down remix.
krustysalt Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Calm Down smashed hard. She should embrace her new found place of being a feature artist. Her solo career is not happening 1
