LesFleur Posted February 21 Posted February 21 (edited) Kelly Rowland has an agreement for interviewers to not ask Beyonce questions - she was there to promote the movie Mea Culpa. But the interviewer repeatedly asked about Beyonce's latest releases...and didn't get the hint when Kelly responded "I'm so proud of her" You can see her irritation at being asked in the interview Full interview They used a Destiny's Child performance from 2001 despite Kelly performing solo on the Today show Edited February 22 by LesFleur
Rotunda Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Kelly was asked Bey questions at another interview recently and didn’t walk out though. 1
KingWitch Posted February 21 Posted February 21 But they said she left an hour before her segment was supposed to start? This is confusing especially since she's answered Beyoncé questions on multiple occasions
naval23 Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Michelle would never And she's a C list at best. Making demands of interview questions is not in her lane 2 8

Yeah but she was very clearly annoyed in that interview too. (I thought that without even seeing the Kempire video) Tbh Kelly shouldn’t have to deal with the Bey questions atp. But she kinda to blame for that too, but whatever.
99sandthe2000s Posted February 22 Posted February 22 it's so disrespectful to do this, and it's been going on for decades at this point. Kelly and Michelle can't go anywhere and promote their own projects without being harassed about Beyonce. 13 1
Josh Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Beyonce's association with her is why anyone cares about Kelly in 2024 2 1
taylamour Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Regardless of respect towards Kelly, but why would anyone think she would go on and spoil Beyoncé's project? 1

Kelly has made a name for herself, she's contributed a lot to pop culture worldwide (Being a mentor to Little Mix on the X Factor UK for instance) She's got hits under her belt (Commander, When Love Takes Over, etc.) She's not under Bey's shadow and interviewers need to stop always bringing Bey up when she's there to promote her movies, music etc. 16 1
shyboi Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I'm sorry but the hosts are just rude. They need to stop doing this. I was very annoyed when they could not stop asking Gaga about Britney on all those red carpet interviews, they obviously know that's annoying and they are not there for that. 2 1

Gaga has always shown love to Britney and she genuinely loves to bring women up, especially Britney. Christina always being asked about Britney is a different story though. 1 2

Time and place. About Christina, I don't really feel bad for the good old sis, it comes with the territory. Plus she is moooooore than used to at this point, she's fine. Dr. Alexander Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Realistically, what else are they going to ask her about? She’s not interesting because she isn’t a big actress in film or television, she doesn’t release music, and her solo career was incredibly underwhelming. We don’t want to hear about your kids and husband 24/7…. 6
