25 years into her career, she just reached #1 on US iTunes after one day also topped WW iTunes as well.

 

 

The album is also #8 on Apple Music WW + #30 in the US. https://kworb.net/apple_albums/

 

The movie debuts #1 on US Amazon Prime Video, this is her second #1 movie on the platform after Shotgun Wedding who in 2023. Congralutations

Unfortunately she has no streaming power, I can see her top 50 but her last studio album was A.K.A. 10 years ago and only managed to peak #8 at BB200 with 33k back then. I don't see her doing more than 15k.

Casual fan here, who doesn't even think the album is particularly good. 

 

However, she's mounted a pretty strong physical campaign. Lots of versions, lots of covers, signed, vinyl, etc. 

 

So, I'm thinking she'll scrape a top 10 debut.

I hear you, but I think some of yall are negating the physical/pure sales of her campaign. 

 

She's with BMG, so much like the Kylie's, the Usher's, and other indie legacy acts, they are going all out with various versions (lots of vinyl, signed, limited editions) and making up for their streaming shortfall with that. And it's working to get them top 10 debuts.  

 

For context, Usher's last major label album did 38k in 2016 (which is crazily sad given that streaming wasn't in high gear at that time). Yet, he's predicted to do 78k with his new album playing the physicals game that J.Lo is doing. 

 

So, pointing to Brave doesn't really tell the full story nor automatically mean this project will follow suit. We'll know soon enough, though, when the HDD numbers are out.

I think top 15 is secured. She selling well with pure sales but sadly enough streaming is just ruining the impact of this record on its first week because we all know it’s gonna fall hard next week. But happy for her tbh  she worked really hard and put her all you can tell
