The US economy has been outperforming most of the world and beating economic predictions consistently during Biden's term. High inflation sucks for everyone, but we are not in a recession nor are we predicted to get anywhere close to one. Biden doesn't need to do anything to prove what is already accessible to anyone who wants to check. The UK and parts of Europe are in a unique situation due to Brexit and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. 1

That’s the worst performance since 2009 when the economy was still reeling from the global financial crisis, if 2020, which was affected by the pandemic, is excluded. Last year’s weak rise in output follows growth of 4.3% in 2022. Edited February 15 by brraap 1

It looks good but, companies are slimming down at a rapid rate. Great for their bottom line, not so much for their workers. Also, the commercial real estate market is teetering on a disaster that will make 2008 housing market crash look like small market correction. 1 1
LadyDiana Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I love UK, travel there everytime I can, but it feels more and more like it's a rich mans country, no room for the poor. Everything is sooo expensive

There is a slowing of many economies right now as governments address inflation, but the UK seems to be doing worse than peer countries.

No girl the economy is not good people are losing there jobs and inflation killing people very hard in certain states. Just because we are not in a recession doesn’t mean the economy is doing well. Inflation can be equally destroying economy. There is entire reports coming out this year already that the average American can’t afford buying average priced American homes anymore and that inflation is felt very hard on groceries. 2

Tories refuse to call for a general election despite how much the public pleads (a law they changed so only the sitting prime minister can call for an election, before it was public call) To be fair, the Tories were the ones who brought in the fixed term parliaments act in the first place. It didn't really work out the way it was intended to

There are rich and poor people in every country right now. The rich get all the benefits and priviledges while the poor keep everything moving through their hard work. 1
