Ciel Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Really enjoyed my first listen Final Fight, Miss You, & Winner are my trinity currently
Mellark Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I just listened to it, and I am lowkey just not feeling some of the tracks from the rest of the album. I'll probably revisit it but Bourgueoisies was the one that clicked for me at first listen.
ryoncé Posted April 5 Posted April 5 his vocals on this are atrocious how is he already vocally declining ? 1
alexaalto Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) was hoping for something else than this generic 80's influenced musicnothing clicked after the first listen unfortunately. maybe it will grow on me type of way he sings on this record isn't quite appealing also to me, weird annunciation from time to time compared to her previous work Edited April 5 by alexaalto
stevenisFADING Posted April 5 Posted April 5 (edited) I finally took a look at the credits and it's mainly produced by Max Martin with a sprinkle of Kurstin. He never misses. I really wish Conan got more hype. It's such a solid record. Edited April 5 by stevenisFADING 2
Miles. Posted April 5 Posted April 5 This is out? He should've pushed it back. With Beyonce, Ariana, Benson, and Taylor, this is going to slip through the cracks. Hopefully I'll remember to check it out in the summer.
Edit0rz Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Loved it. 10/13 tracks are really solid. I just wish some of the song lengths were a little longer so they were more fleshed out. I will be adding many of the songs to my workout playlist.
GreatestLoveofAll Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Saw @Yog's thread and I checked it out. This is a really, really good album. Might be my favorite this year- its so 80s influenced in the best way and he sounds great. Are his previous albums like this or is this his first venture into this kinda sound? 1

His first album, "Kid Krow" had a more indie pop feel, his second album, "Superache" was even more pop leaning from various sounds and finally "Found Heaven" that's definitely his most poppiest album. but single wise, "overdrive" is definitely an prelude to FH Edited April 6 by Yog 2

GreatestLoveofAll Posted April 6 Posted April 6 my top three Lonely Dancers The Final Fight Forever With Me 2
MaxMartin Posted April 6 Posted April 6 This is actually really good cohesive album! Unfortunately the rollout has been so long & messy.... Never ending song was never gonna be a good lead and time has shown... It should have been Killing me followed by Bougeoisises (second single) and winner as the focus track on album release It's a shame he got so sick in the middle of the rollout.
