Achilles. Posted March 15 Share Posted March 15 Cardinal, Anime Eyes, Nothing To Be Scared Of top 3. The Architect may bump one of them out, though. The album’s well written but nothing really grabs me. Too much of her crystals and jade and astrology and nature is healing zen kooky hippie lady persona in there I fear. I can take it in a song or two (see: Cardinal), but a whole album of it tests my patience. Glad she returned to mostly-country, though. Hope the gays are a bit bothered by it! CottageHore Posted March 15 Share Posted March 15 The Architect is literal perfection. I cried. The way she ends it with “is there an architect?”. That subtle switch is so touching and existential. I also just love how the production on these songs all have good catchy hooks and her melodies are so full and cohesive this time.
