Notably, Taylor Swift is the sole artist from the 2000s era rightfully securing a spot on this all-time list. Source I always hate people who equates single sales to album sales. Like they are completely different aspects. It's a disappointed that Guiness didn't distinguish the sales. That causes artist like Celine Dion whose selling power might even be above some of artist making the list didn't earn her rightful place. 1 1

Yet they are completely different tho. 1 album sales cost $10 - $50 dollars depends on edition while one single sales cost $0.69. I'm not saying that single success is not as important. But they are 2 separated aspect that should not be considered the same

There are separate lists for albums and for singles. The "best selling" artists is a list of people who sold the most "records", not "adjusted records". The weighted thing that CM does is all made up. He can make up all the stats that he wants but no one is taking him seriously.

I just think it’s dumb why u mention CM here when I basically don’t mention anything about it?
