I literally physically hate her. No one is expecting 50 tracks, but with the amount of tracks we already have from FN sessions, there is no reason not to have a cute 20-22 track standard, a la SZA, and then give us a few more for a deluxe :biblio: why the gatekeeping? :toofunny3:

11 songs? :biblio:

There better be a deluxe edition, I didn't wait almost 4 years for only 11 songs :clack:

I don’t doubt that she will release multiple deluxe edition playlists after the fact.

But still…it’s been 4 years and she is only giving us 11 songs?  She is not Adele.

Nobody wants 20 tracks on a pop album, it’s overloaded.

10-12 standard is the ideal number. I’m sure she’ll do plenty rereleases too.

Relax. The super edition will have 25 tracks by the time the era is done :cm:

I'm sure the remaining 40 tracks recorded for the album session are going to see the light of day, one way or another.

People saying Houdini doesn't fit the description have never listened to Primal Scream (specially since all of their albums are so different)

But ATRL being ignorant where is the surprise?

Houdini wasn't giving rave at all so I'm glad she kept the UK rave direction people were hinting at. I knew she hired Danny L Harle for a reason :jonny5:

She needs room to stack more tracks later on :gayalipacat5:

She's had new music released since. The idea of albums being revered in 2024 is archaic.

Midnights

Midnights (3AM Edition)

Midnights: The Til Dawn Edition

Midnights: Late Night Edition

And no, don’t come at me with your bullshit ‘she added songs that were already hits to a deluxe edition it’s different’’ because that’s a tired argument. It’s all artists and labels finding ways to mess with the units/SEA format. So Midnights is a playlist as well, admit it.

11 tracks is great for a pop, upbeat album

but for how long will it have 11 tracks is the real question

So from that interview I understand that only 3 songs aren’t produced by Danny L Harle… Great. So it’s basically an EP (with only 3 songs) :rip:. Only 3 tracks by either Ian Kirkpatrick, Koz, Jeff Bhasker, Andrew Watt, GRADES or Jason Evigan (producers who were seen with Dua in the studio for DL3). WTF:deadvision:. I was so excited for this but my excitement just dropped to the floor. Thank god those 12 FN songs surfaced recently. Will be enough until DL4 :dancehall2:

But will any be hits, is the question. Currently in her flop era.

also it’s been 4 years since FN and DL3, for only 11 new tracks, and she also says that she would like to take longer breaks in the future :deadbanana4:
