He’s stuck in this weird place between being a visible queer artist and then the rap community, who is notoriously homophobic. This stunt really backfired and a lot of the rap music community might even be blacklisting him and not to mention he’s also a flop atm. He doesn't even make Hip-Hop music, he makes Pop rap music therefore the Hip-Hop music side of the industry and fans have no obligation to listen to or claim him anyway. Having features on smaller up and coming indie rap artists tracks would have given him some cred (not that that would have been an easy journey seeing as he is mostly pop and gay AF but it could have helped). His entire artistry is in question...it always has been but now more than ever. He needs to regroup BIG time or else he's done.
