I never said it was a good or a bad cover, and honestly I don’t care, I just said the tactic is lazy and you agreed. Thank u, next. That don’t got nothing to do with her. Take it up with the IT department at Republic, Ms. Gurl. 1

Exodus Posted January 10 Posted January 10 It's always so amusing to me that these celebrities have all the money and resources at their disposal and then they give us something that looks like their 2 year old niece stole their phone and mashed some buttons together to take a candid while they were sneezing. And the saddest part? They're sitting in rooms with executives who are all agreeing that this is a good use of their money. Reminds me of when I see an awful commercial and wonder what ad agency was paid millions of dollars to produce that crap shoot. 5

cuteboyzay Posted January 10 Posted January 10 If this album serves cünt/eats down and is very analog like the album cover. It could be iconic. Very memoir/diary like. I actually like it more than almost all of her album covers other than Positions jahsjssjsjsj. Ngl, Gen-Z has never been a huge fan of extravagant album covers, and since most of her audience is that. It’s def on-brand lmao. I see the vision, but obviously she could’ve been a little more… creative with it
Infatuation_Junkie Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Are all these “selfie” album covers actually selfies?
NEUTRON Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I was hoping she'd be upside down. Thats when Miss Mamas goes awfff for me 1
Lady Claire Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Could've been better but i don't mind really. Especially bc she's never been great with her album covers At least it's textless

It’s a single shot, probably on a phone that doesn’t eat up any money for the company. Ariana is going to sell regardless and they know that so it’s an absolute win for them. 1

West Coast Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Horrendous. Hopefully it’s not the one that we’re gonna be stuck with on streaming

The funny thing is people were loud enough in 2013 to get the original Yours Truly cover changed... Now her fanbase got multiplied and they can't do it again
