Ladies, ladies!!! Let's not argue over the Wikipedia article. It has already been written, and you will have to just deal. Just like every Christmas for the rest of your eternal lives. Bloop.

damn i am praying for some of you guys. Seriously, I mean it. You can love any artists you want, its always ok, but this is another level (mental illness level) and this is no joke.  Online bullying, spending all these time/energy for an artist etc... these are not ok.

I'm impressed by the number of citations and sources.

Someone put a lot of work into this page to make sure it didn't get nominated for speedy deletion.

Eh I know from the fact that their mods regularly troll Christina’s page that wiki is run by lambs but it’s cute nonetheless

What’s funny is that, taken literally, the line isn’t actually shady. The questioner was asking Mariah for her personal impressions of different celebrities she’s met, hence “I don’t know her” as in “I don’t know her personally.” However was Mariah’s facial expression and delivery dripping with shade? Absolutely.

That's why it's the best kind of shade. Taken at face value, she can still claim innocence.

And only for that.

I would be madd too if my fave was remembered only for being a meme and for being the lady who defrosts every year at Christmas.

While the other "talentless" lady is booked and busy the whole year.

If that's what you want to take or remember one of the most successful and talented musicians of all time that's on you.

The lambs are literally one of the most chill fanbases around here, meanwhile the Jennifer fans are serving Demi on instagram, over a wikipedia article she didn't write.

J.Lo:

*Publicly likes anti-Mariah posts on social media*

*Goes on The Wendy Williams Show and during a commercial break, encourages Wendy to talk maliciously about Mariah*

*Implements a “No Mariah” clause that prohibits anyone in her camp/entourage from working with Mariah, even if they knew and/or worked with Mariah years before*

J.Lo fans:

J.Lo is so unbothered by Mariah :giraffe:

Like…come on. These women mutually dislike each other. Mariah is just more blunt in her delivery lol.

Ok, I was having a giggle at ya'll going back and forth but had to address this one:

1. I think she (or her messy social media manager) liked and unliked one negative comment about Mariah in her 20+ years about the NYE performance, which was widely ridiculed anyway. I think most people would agree with the sentiment that it was like "an accident you can't taker your eyes away from".

2. Wendy Williams has always been a messy queen. Where's the proof that J.Lo asked Wendy during commercial break to ask her about Mariah? LOL that's a reach; it's just Wendy being messy Wendy.

3. The "no Mariah" clause makes a lot of sense actually because her manager of 18-something years Benny Medina left her during a dispute and went to manage Mariah Carey and then crawled back to J.Lo. It only makes sense that she would say to that manager "you know what, I'll take you back but I'll only take you if you're not going to manage Mariah again".

You are also forgetting that J.Lo praised Mariah throughout the years even though Mariah has shaded her so often, even saying she would rather share the stage with a pig than J.Lo. J.Lo kept it classy. But of course you conveniently left that out. The one time she has shaded Mariah back with the "forgetful" comment was during a period where Mariah was being all cute reusing the "I don't know her" comment and the media and gheys went with it again after leaving it alone for years. She was probably annoyed. Which is only understandable when Mariah kept talking about her and sharing her for 2 decades.

This is definitely one of her biggest contributions to pop culture. I've been using this phrase and the accompanying gifs for a decade now. It's evergreen

1. So then…J.Lo did in fact like an IG post ridiculing Mariah? I’m unsure as to what’s being corrected here.

2. Wendy is messier than a landfill, but she typically doesn’t lie so brazenly. Maybe during her radio days, but not when she had her show. Wendy is messy primarily because she puts people’s private business on front street, not because she fabricates things. What incentive would Wendy even have to lie on J.Lo like that, and why wasn’t a statement released debunking what Wendy told people if it wasn’t true?

3. How does your (attempted) justification of the “No Mariah” clause counter anything that I said?

4. (Please don’t ask me to cite the interview where this happened, because it may take me ages to find it) Mariah debunked the “rather perform with a pig” comment. It was pure entertainment journalism fiction. I specifically remember her saying that people who personally know her would already know that the comment was fabricated because she doesn’t even talk about people like that. She subsequently went on to say that the beef was more so between labels than between her and J.Lo. I vaguely recall the interviewers (there were two of them, one man and one woman) being Australian.

5. That’s the kicker, though. Mariah has never “constantly” talked about J.Lo. She responds with short, curt answers when asked about the feud and that’s really as far as it goes.
