This is sad.

Interesting she says she’s been a ghost writer on songs for the past two years.

Not Britney refering to Charli and Julia Michales as "random people" :bibliahh:

I legit screamed because she worked with Julia on Glory and said how much she loved working with her in her book :rip:

Yeah, I don't see a new album anytime soon. More like a fun collab here and there.

Ghostwriter-ney

She is an underrated writer after all. Hopefully this mean people will stop discrediting her writing skills

I know it's for the best and she dealt with a lot of trauma from her time in the industry but this is still so sad and upsetting. I know she's been adamant about not returning to music for over a year now but there's a certain finality in this caption that pretty much shakes us to remind us again, she is over the industry.

But isn't being a ghostwriter for other artists also being part of the music industry? :psyduck:

She obviously meant releasing solo music.

Notice how she only denied it when people said Julia Michaels was writing songs for her

This makes me sad.

I was hoping she'd want to create an album of her dreams, something that represents her as the artist she wants to be now that she's been liberated.

But if posting naked pics and spinning on camera is what truly makes her happy then good for her.

In my perfect world, she wrote this masterpiece

Tbh there have been others who the media claimed she was working with (who are somewhat random for her)

im sure she didn't mean it in a bad way tho lol

So what was Hold Me Closer and Mind Your Business?

I would release a new album, do a big stadium tour, it can be planned in a way that wouldn’t be too demanding, promote it as her last. Oprah interview and Netflix doc then call it a day. Cash in, with all that, she would make up for whatever her family took and more.

It’s a shame she feels this way, but I get it.

This it is really sad but understandable.

Although I don’t get how she says she will never return to the music industry when she’s a ghost writer now in the music industry :deadbanana2:
