Reminds me of one time when I tried to run away from home and fly to Korea to audition for SM entertainment … so I snuck on a bus and went to my city Airport. But they said they didn’t have any flights to Incheon Airport, so I had to call my mom to pick me up😒

This was back In 2011. I was hoping SM would train me to sing, Dance, and give me plastic surgery to be a Visual Like I could have debut in EXO, if I could do any of that and learn Korean. 😭 Maybe one day😔

I'm sorry, I'm still thinking about this. So you left, clearly without a plan, money, or luggage, probably spent about an hour away from home despite "running away", only for it to result in your mum having to come and pick you up, likely bewildered and possibly considering just leaving you there. Then there's the bus ride where you were imagining yourself as the protagonist of an MV, rain pattering against the window as the other passengers steered clear of you. I also have to consider the airport... like, did you beg them to consider an alternate route to Incheon? Did they call security? This is a LOT.

I have done dumber things in my youth that I’m not proud of. 🙃But yeah, I got on a greyhound and went to Chicago O’hare airport. I lived in the suburbs, so it was like a 45 minute ride. I didn’t know it was gonna be that expensive when I got to the airport and they didn’t have any flights that weekend to Korea. I was 17 and no one on the bus cared. I didn’t really have a plan, just my backpack of clothes and some cash. When my mom picked me up she explain I wouldn’t get far cuz I didn’t have my passport. I forgot all about that💀
