The Nct Dream song is their first miss for me, i ve been casually following their releases since glitch mode and as crazy or disjointed some of their songs are this one doesnt really have a hook or melody to tie everything together.

 

The ILLIT song and mini is good, there is some influence from new jeans but hopefully down the road they re able to find their own vibe

I do agree however that ILLIT is too NJ coded. They need their own image because this is not good for their long term career

Okay, why do you think she is bland and boring, when she literally outdances, outsings and outperforms half of the group? If those qualities are not charismatic to you, then please explain and make me understand, because for me she serves with her voice alone (not withstanding that her dancing is also very entertaining to look at). I listened to the ILLIT (is that their name?) song and it's pretty good, but it gave me this very strong sense that I'd already heard it before. It's basically a NJ x LOONA crossover - not new or interesting whatsoever but definitely high quality.

 

I'm not sure how I feel about NCT Dream's song. I like the individual parts but there are so many key changes happening so quickly the song feels kind of frenetic and all over the place. You never settle down enough to just bop.
