The song is good but the dance is my favorite thing about it tbh. One of the best examples of a properly well made choreo doing what it should: elevate the song. 3

It was an EVENT when they dropped Hoot against 2AM, they created a huge rivalry during the "Can't let you go even if i die" x "Oh!" round of promotions, this was their much expected round 2 and both groups excelled at it as expected. 2
rapperjennie Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Her fans moving like Arianators with everything theyre spoiling in advance, not with the dates??

The one and only girlgroup charting. Not really, both were digital monsters, the thing is that the circle (Former Gaon) chart only started in 2010, so a lot of SNSD smash hits won't have numbers in that metric (Gee, Kissing You, Genie, etc). SNSD was miles ahead of other groups, they were not only the top girlgroup, all the members were actually super relevant (which wasn't the regular deal, as in most groups you would have only 1 super popular member and the rest was just average) and active in the entertainment industry, hence why they all have sucessful jobs up until now, while most of the other groups barely have 1-2 members doing anything. where do you see these lists on wiki? thanks

Odette Violet Posted June 21 Posted June 21 (edited) Gallup Survey 2010 ARTIST: 1. Girls' Generation SONGS: 1. Hoot 2. Oh! 2011 ARTIST: 1. Girls Generation SONGS: 2. Roly Poly 3. The Boys That's just Gallup. We are not even factoring other metrics like Forbes, concerts, CFs/brand deals, album sales, overall impact etc. Notice how some users can only come up with Digital/Gaon peaks to prove how this groups were supposedly on the same level or even bigger than SNSD No one is rewriting herstory here. It's just the Hags haters can't accept the fact and move on that SNSD were the #1 Group of their Generation and is still widely relevant today while their peers; N/A Edited June 22 by Odette Violet 3
Odette Violet Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Also comparing Blackpink/BTS to SNSD is like comparing Olivia Rodrigo/Billie to Beyoncé/Lady Gaga. Both are from different times and the market were pretty much smaller back then Blackpink or Stray cats wouldn't be pulling this numbers if they were to debut during 2nd Gen It's not that hard to comprehend 4 1
Rainy Devil Posted June 21 Posted June 21 The Boys MV has reached 300M views on YT. What an iconic era. 3 1

Mel. Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Jennie really said it's TIME. The music preview in the beats ad, her new Vogue Korea spread is centered around music and her holding the mic. I think an announcement is happening very soon 1

I think Jennie is pretty much confirmed mid or end of July Rosé def last maybe September-October
