Soyeon had to eat a lot of **** to be where she is, she doesn't come from a privileged background and has developed many skills, including but not limited to, rapping. If someone has a claim on the bad ***** character, it's her. I don't really see Gidle as the tryhards you describe, though. To me, they are making fun music everyone can enjoy with a personal touch of femininity / feminism that resonates with them. I think they are more in it for the sense of Spectacle than any defined concept or art direction. That's what they always reinvent themselves and try new ideas. Witnessed ET Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Just looked at FIFTY FIFTY Cupid's streams and it blows my mind how massive this song became Cupid (Twin ver.) - 828,953,775 Cupid (Original) - 204,613,106 Cupid (Twin ver. - Live Studio Ver. OT4) - 162,966,078 Total - 1,196,532,959 such a shame how this group was so tragically unlucky immediately after this. Imagine the potential if the CEO wasn't so trash and the girls could have stayed together.

Be for real rn. There's just no comparison.
Sad Beautiful Tragic Posted April 15 Posted April 15 LSRFM's performance isn't nearly as bad as some of you are making it out to be. They gave a very energetic performance, and I loved that they maintained consistent interactions with the crowd. There were a few vocal slip-ups, but when you're doing intense choreo and constantly moving around the stage, it's bound to happen. I liked that they didn't rely on excessively on a backing track either. @Butters Overall: 7/10. It was a cultural-reset of some kind 4 1 1

Asscatchem Posted April 15 Posted April 15 the only thing they reset was the bar for kpop groups at coachella. it used to be an honor to have a set there but now it feels like you don't necessarily need stage presence or talent. the good reviews they got are a testament to the HYBE payola machine. plus those vocal fail twitter videos have all been taken down for copyright. HYBE works hard!
Asscatchem Posted April 15 Posted April 15 yawl think coachella is gonna invite em back to headline in 4 years like blackpink?

Sad Beautiful Tragic Posted April 15 Posted April 15 The hatred for LSRFM is so forced; let's stick to dragging Stray Kids please 2 3

Will the promotion to that audience really improve their notoriety beyond what they're doing right now? Or is it like the fistingirls who'd like to tell their future nieces and nephews they were going on those shows, too! The company classifies them as an "idol band" so it'll happen sooner than later. And it's probably a good strategy to become something first. At least that way you can bring friends with you so you're not all alone. Yes you're Right ! I was thinking about a potential viral fancam! But their team should focus on booking them on the upcoming universities festival.
