For starters, BlackPink have less commercial success than TWICE. Why speak on the charts if you know nothing about them? We’re all smart enough to know that metrics change over time and commercial stats are a reflection of that. It isn’t fair to paint a group who built the industry and took it to global status (without the benefit of playlisting or streaming farms) as less commercially successful than a group who got to debut while the genre was already global. It would be like us pointing out that NMIXX is outselling BlackPink at the same point in their careers (NMIXX sold 3.6M copies in less than 2 years and BlackPink were under 400k sold in almost 2 and a half years).
