It's not Madonna fans who are insecure, she and everyone else is being compared to her not the other way around, if she's so great why isn't she being held up on her own?

I don't remember Swifties doubting the accuracy of GWR's data. What people were doubting are the conclusions that were drawn. Using "records sold" as a way to determine whose artist is more successful is just stupid, and not the standard anywhere in the music industry. 

 

That said, any Swifties acting like Taylor already surpassed Madonna's career success-wise are wrong. That won't happen before a few more years (likely near the decade end).

congratulations to Miss Swift. I wish her health and happiness. Because money does not bring happiness, no it doesn’t.
