holyground13 Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 First listen: it's very strong. I could tell during the first 100 seconds that it was good but didn't fit my personal taste all too well, but I love the beat change. This and Delresto are cute b-sides to the era that sorta fit the album's aesthetic but also may not have fit with the original album's continuous tracklist. I also love how she continues to push her artistry forward. She doesn't ever repeat herself.
mercurial high Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Love the entire song, but I actually prefer the first half 2

BOAZ Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 The way she literally says "RENAISSANCE to REVOLUTION" at the end of the song Act 2 : REVOLUTION coming 2024 with Hip Hop, Rock, Experimental vibes 4 1
Nashe Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 a majooorrrr bopppp, I'm LIVINNNNN. She said We won't let 2023 go out without a BAAANNGGGG
Acuminatus Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 This sounds a bit like an extended mix, she could have edited it down a bit before releasing it as a single. However it is a great track!

Sorry but it's not going to do anything. ------- OT : We are moving further and further in the experimental side. I would have preferred something a bit more conventional for this standalone song. A feel good like Before I let go. I can't deny it's goo though, the gospel addition, the house feel etc.
Thor Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 An abomination. Literally got a headache listening to it. It's so bad 1 1 1
Doogle Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 The usuals running in here to hate. It must be good omgggg 1

BnPac Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Although I like the first part, I would have loved it more if it were a bit toned down, the second half is just so good. The first half is very reminiscent of B'Day : Ring The Alarm, Lost Your Mind, Creole etc and the song itself has the same structure that she did with Pure/Honey, Partition/Yoncé, Move. 2
