This is a perfect example as to why meritocracy is not a thing. Somehow, some stupid morons got in charge of Spyglass and they decided to shoot themselves in the foot purely based on ideology against basic common sense

I don't follow the Scream franchise, never seen Wednesday series and the only point of reference I have from Jenna is from You Season 2 and Ti West's X (she was very good in both).

7 will probably follow the same plot as 3: a movie within a movie, with Gale producing it and Kirby as “consultant” (same as Dewey). The sisters won’t want anything to do with it, thus being excluded.

why is everyone celebrating this? Yes it’s great to see big names speaking out and being pro-Palestine despite the consequences, but it’s still sad to see an iconic horror franchise go to complete **** in a day.

 

Instead of celebrating everyone quitting the franchise, we should be mad at the director for completely ruining what could’ve been an amazing Scream 7 and grieving these characters.

Nobody is celebrating death of franchise, they are applauding two leading actresses for standing up and speaking out for important cause. Secondly, the director has nothing to do with it, the call was made by the studio boss who is pro-Zionist

scream is my favorite horror franchise of all time and enjoyed both reboots but i am happy and i applaud her for this decision
