Michael Jackson's security car once ran over a fan in Brazil, and Michael himself went to visit him in the hospital and gave all his support to the family.

A crew member died when part of the stage collapsed during Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour in France, and Madonna personally attended the funeral.

Taylor should follow in the footsteps of them. It's not all about the chart stats.

That's why she'll NEVER be at their level with all the billions of records she could sell. As simple as that.

Her silence is truly deafening.

Doesn't help either that Taylornation are being money hungry as usual announcing Black Friday deals on Taylor's store while a fan is being laid to rest  :deadbanana4:

The way I read some people's responses in this thread you would think Taylor herself killed this girl as responsible as some people think she is for doing everything bad that ever happens

Taylor’s team couldn’t tell the venue to turn on the air vents? :hoetenks:

Now that's just too much..

It's like she is gonna lose tickets if there are people watching the show from the outside :toofunny3:

Gurl, they couldn't even make the venue to do their jobs in the first place. And the mayor had to get involved the next day to get shits done.

People in here still milking this situation (because in reality they don't give a f) for obvious reasons. Yikes.

This is just sad..

But what do y'all expect from Regina George in sheep's clothing?

Not some of the Taylor Swift fans changing the narrative on here to legal cases etc. when it's about Taylor not even saying "I'm sorry for your loss" to that girl's family. No excuse for that. I totally lost respect for Taylor, no matter how sorry she'll say she is now, no matter what she'll pay and what she dedicates to the girl.

But I'm not surprised which is the funny thing. Back when Taylor was promoting her music in 2008 or so she was on Ellen talking PUBLICLY about Joe Jonas' phone call and that it only lasted a couple of seconds only to be revealed that it only lasted a couple of seconds because SHE hung up on HIM. Then all the feuds she's had over the years and while there's nothing wrong with having many romantic partners it seems odd her exes are the ones to settle down while she's still dating the up-tenth guy and then that iconic Katy Perry tweet calling her Regina George.

She's vile, despicable and greedy af. I don't know how you can support someone like that. And if you do then that's on you but how can you DEFEND her?

I don't get the comments from some swifties saying "I'm sure she will help them", "let's wait and see what happens", the family need help NOW, they needed help days ago when they didn't have the money to transport Ana's body, they need help now to plan a funeral that they probably don't have the means for, the help is kinda too late if it comes in days/weeks/months. I'm just baffled by the response to this, even the social media story she posted was rather cold in its tone and didn't even refer to Ana by her name. And please, don't say this is "stan wars", I can guarantee you've never seen me posting something negative about Taylor on this site.

I keep seeing swifties saying that everyone is just making assumptions, but the whole idea that Taylor can't do or say anything due to a potential lawsuit is also pure assumption. And there's virtually no precedent for an artist being held responsible for a fan passing away from a medical episode at their show, unless their actions contributed to their death like Astroworld. And even if she was concerned about a lawsuit, there's absolutely no way that passing along condolences to the family would be detrimental to that.

this is true

She can’t just burn all bridges and unilateral cancel the shows now so she has to maintain some working relationship for at least a week.

Tell that to Ariana Grande who cancelled her entire tour after the events in Manchester. You are seriously defending this woman?

It's funny how some of the comments in this thread is making it seem like Taylor purposely had someone killed coz she held a concert on a hot day (yes, it's really going beyond the topic of contacting the family). These same people attacking/insulting Taylor/her fans are the people who will defend their favs and not give a flying F. Also these same people wouldn't give a shi* if someone had died in a small concert of some unknown act.

Try looking at yourself in the mirror before throwing stones at someone and calling fans sociopaths for example. It's pathetic.

This is not me defending Taylor, this is me analyzing the comments in this topic and seeing some of the members who are commenting her.

Imagine throwing a house party and someone that you don’t know showed up, drank too much, and died.

It was her fan that came because of her. The situation is properly compared to if you hosted a party and invited people you know and one of them died. You know, since YOU hosted the party (Taylor hosted the concert) so it is almost your obligation (if you have morals and aren't vile, that is) to attend the funeral or at least pay your condolences to the family of said guest that you invited to your party. Her fans aren't "strangers" to her so your example is horrendous.

tbh if she was at all affected by this, she would've done something. no one's suing her or sending her to jail for giving the family her condolences. she very clearly doesn't care.

What do y'all even want Taylor to say? Even a "sorry" could be used against her if she's really planning to sue T4F

I wonder about her reputation long term in Brazil. When Tiziano Ferro made an off-color remark about Mexican women on Mexican TV, his career went down the drain there. To this day, that earth is still salted.

Now amplify that to silence over a fan's death and a much bigger market, and she could have a recipe for disaster.

Yeah its seems they didn't give a damn. Everyone is to blame ,from Taylor to her the organizer's . They could've done way more .

Some people need to learn the difference between being a fan and being a blind obsessed stupid stan...it's all about empathy, morals, humanity.
And yes, it is normal, and almost RIGHT to feel disappointed in Taylor. Is it her fault? Obviously no. But it was ALL OUT OF PASSION FOR HER.

If you can't admit that, you're just as cold and empty. It won't make anyone less of a fan, to admit disappointment. It'll only make you a conscious fan/human being.

She literally posted something sending her condolences shortly after she was aware of the incident.

100% all I can think of reading these posts. Flashbacks to Reddit 2 years ago. People just get dumber and dumber.

That's between Taylor and the family. You're WAY too invested w/ celebrity culture if you're still checking in to see an update on something that has nothing to do with you. Nada. Zip.
