Why would her team drive around with their cars' license plates covered :deadbanana2: I'm pretty sure it's illegal everywhere

The drivers were told to cover the plates to travel in exclusive lanes from the airport. The plates weren't covered afterwards.

It's a new law so likely was some miscommunciation. It's not a big deal.

For why, to try to prevent people from tracking which car Taylor was in to prevent an attack.

He died in early morning . It doesn't have much to do with Taylor's show but rather public safety in Rio.

Yesss, I agree with you. But if Taylor finds out about this death, she'll feel devastated.

Also, some passive agressive with xenophobic comments undertones about a country and its population isn't that clever and cute as some of y'all think it is. It should be passable of penalty by the moderation. It's not our fault if we've all been suffering with a extreme  heat weave, and definitely not our fault the production's (Tickets 4 Fun) poor management, so some of you better slow down a bit

Totally! The conditions are unfortunate! But stigmatize a whole ass country for this is disguised racism. "Ghetto"  "Crazy country", "Insane people" are untolerable words appearing on this thread.

:clap3: THANK YOU!!!!

Uncome to Brazil

The xenophobia in some of the posts here is shocking.

We can all have thoughts and feelings but to be frank, Brazil is clearly poorly equipped to handle an event like this. Which is surprising because didn’t they host the World Cup at some stage?

Yeah she’s probably never coming back to Latin America, just Mexico which is literally above USA and that’s it, I don’t blame her, it’s not her fault :chick3:

Taylor needs to leave that country and never go back :deadbanana4:

What a complete disaster her whole stay in Brazil has been, she surely can't wait to leave the country, and I don't blame her, by far the most chaotic and unorganized section of the tour.

this the last time i would see her here

In addition to the many examples of xenophobia, another thing that is shocking in this thread is the poor geographical knowledge of some members.

Mexico borders the south of the US, and Canada the north.

People are being so dramatic. The police returned the cars and told her team to not cover the plates moving forward.

It’s not a big deal.

Her reputation (tv) era is coming!

And what was your point you idiot? In case you didn’t know it only took weeks between the LA dates and Mexico City dates, it wasn’t that complicated to bring the show in Mexico

Mexico is part of North America in case you didn’t go to school

There’s even a subdivision of the fandom that calls themselves “wet swifties” for the ones that went to that show.

When the Manchester incident happened i don't recall anyone saying that Ariana Grande shouldn't come back to the UK/Europe ever again. Why is that an issue with a latin American country? Sounds like blatant xenophobia and y'all should be ashamed of that.

It wasn't Taylor's or the country's fault, what happened here could've happened anywhere in the world. If you think otherwise you're just dumb.

Maybe you wanted to say that Mexico is below (abajo) the USA, but you literally said above (arriba) which is not the case.

Preach!

Can you imagine if we say Americans shouldn’t go to school just because… you know…?
