For driving around with obstructed license plates.

UPDATE: Globo reports that the matter's been resolved and the cars have been returned.

The law is the law, the company she hired needs to be held accountable.

Weren't they escorting her to the hotel when she first arrived? What's up with the cars having their plates covered now?

So why are they investigating the hotel staff as well?

Why would they put **** over the license plates, though? Is her team a bunch of 12-year-olds? :psyduck:

She’ll never come back to Brazil. They ruined it for her. The US leg of the tour was going so smoothly, nothing but mess overseas.

The police has a duty to inquiry all of those who are involved in a transgression of the law. Considering these cars have been parked into the hotel garage, the hotel also has to explain what they've seen and deliver video footage from the garage.

The police officer knows that covering the license plates was done in order to protect her safety, but, since it's forbidden, they can't just let it slide without questioning, bringing evidence together that it was all done in good faith and, especially, to make sure there's no other criminal activity there.

Maybe she can add some dates in Colombia and Chile if she wants to come back to Buenos Aires in the future? Although skipping Brazil will make it even more unlikely now.
