Top seller of the 80s, holding hers in the 90s passing the baton to Britney, and still holding hers in the 2000s.

Top seller of the 90s and 00s, passing the baton over to Taylor and holding hers in the 2010s.

Top seller of the 10s, still has the baton in the 20s and hopefully an up and coming blonde pop star will take the baton while Taylor still holds her own in the 2030s.

 

No matter the criticism of their voice, the slt shaming of their dating lives, they transcend the others and change the course of how to do things.

 

Love that each of these three legends support one another.

If you've been fan of Britney and followed her instagram i would like to mention that Britney is not very serious person with words, her saying taylor is the most iconic of our generation doesn't mean anything else than that - she might've seen the picture recently and it would've jogged her memory so she posted her IG is nothing more than a journal for her these days. 

 

She's saying most iconic doesn't mean she is saying all are peers, I doubt she even thought of all that before posting. 

 

It's like saying Toxic is the best song ever, of course there are more best songs and even better ones per se but you say just it like an expression not as a fact.
