I think this one will perform better in Europe than in the US.

It's always the same. She debuts "low" because she's not frontloaded and ATRL drags her because she's a flop then she promotes, climbs to #1 and ATRL is proven wrong again.

The reason no one drags lipa is because she takes month to rise while her peers are countless songs pulling 10M streams a day. So when they do lower than the expectations, they get dragged

I thought we were done with this Post Malone replacement in 2022 and then BAM like herpes outbreak just popping up out of nowhere.

 

I still rock with the Dua track. The good thing is Dua always wins the long game but I wasn't thinking she'd be struggling to debut top 10. I'm gonna stream it for the next few days quite a bit.

I knew this would be a smash the second I heard the TikTok snippet. It has a real bounce to it and the hook is really catchy. I thought it sounded familiar so I assumed it was a well-known sample but apparently it's an incredibly obscure sample from a 90s song that isn't even on streaming services. I wonder who found it/thought of using it. Genius decision whoever it was.

Yep, it’s clearly the biggest song in the US this week. It’s #1 in the US on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and TikTok. The fact that this isn’t a clear #1 on the Hot 100 this upcoming week shows that the formula needs a complete overhaul.
