Because all her songs are about dragging her exes...? This is common knowledge.

This is the dumbest thing you have ever said in your life.

Least versatile:

Beyoncé (can only give hip-hop/R&B albums)

Taylor (she only sings about her exes and she doesn't take enough risks to be considered versatile).

Most Versatile:

Lady Gaga

Versatility does not just mean for sound as in songs or albums having a different sound or even genre lol

Versatility is also that in aesthetic, talent, and medium including things like singing, vocal range, transforming, acting, stage presence, or even improv.

Taylor can really compete in those domains outside sound or genre change?

most - Lady Gaga

least - Adele. maybe Rihanna and Ariana too

Olivia Rodrigo is not a MPG

edit: just saw many people put Rihanna as most versatile. genuine question: why? i'm not trying to be shady, i like her music but she very much sticks to her lane and doesn't really veer of course ever. which is fine, her style and aesthetic works for her, but i wouldn't call her versatile.

the question is:
why dua sza and olivia are here?

after 2 albums? bye

Dua has 31 singles and three times as many smash hits as Olivia, so she does belong here.

11 from DL
10 from FN
the rest you saw are on another artist album

Still. Dua still had only 2 proper album/eras, no we entering 3rd

that's true, but she still has a longer career and a lot more hits under her belt than Olivia, which in my eyes qualifies her as a MPG.

likely because she has crossed reggae, Pop, r&b, rock, country :eli:, dancehall, dubstep, EDM, hip hop, Latin, alternative songs, ballads, dance records, trap, electro pop and she has done it all authentically. :gaylorcat1:

How TF are people voting for Taylor as the least versatile when literally every single album of hers has sounded very distinct from one another. She even won 3 Album Of The Year awards in 3 different genres.

You lot are so delusional it's actually crazy

It's just plain hate.

Taylor literally had one of the most unique evolutions in music to the extent where nobody saw Fearless coming out of the same girl who made her self-titled album in 06.

Obviously, Gaga, Miley, and Bey are more versatile overall but saying that Taylor is less versatile than Adele and Pink is just straight false lmao.

Heh? What an odd nitpick.

Can you at least show examples of other artists on the list mastering the very things you've mentioned without bringing up sound and genre changes?

Did Rihanna revolutionize her singing, vocals, acting, improv and stage presence with every album cycle?

But Gaga is more of a master of none. Trying everything to see what sticks but a lot of lukewarm attempts. Hammy jazz singer impression, Joanne’s lame soft rock and country attempts, the watered-down house on Chromatica.

Beyonce has done every genre successfully. And she can vary her vocal delivery to match it while Gaga maintains nearly the same vocal approach.

Since when does versatility mean being able to execute everything perfectly without any flaws at all? At the end of the day Gaga can deliver a SOM medley to a standing ovation and do Julie Andrews justice, sing a pop song like Paparazzi perfectly in one take according to Rob Fusari, credibly sing alongside The Rolling Stones, garnering acclaim from Gene Simmons who compared her to Amy Winehouse, and even pull off a song like Sinner’s Prayer.

Taking into account all forms of talent, Gaga by far with singing, acting, dancing, producing, etc.

Not taking into account acting, then Beyoncé for sure.

Yep, I can’t imagine Beyoncé being able to write a song like Captivated as a teenager or Bad Romance at 22.

Gaga but being able to sing anything doesn't mean the music is good

Gaga has actually made horrible music in every genre

Adele is the least
