RunUpDoneUp Posted November 9, 2023 Posted November 9, 2023 It's so odd(not really) how rightwing dems try to take credit for the things the actual left push for and FORCED state party lines to abide by. Time and time again we know what direction you go if you want to beat fascists and it's not to the right. 2

Still comfortable and resounding wins, and both pretty much identical to the margins MI enshrined abortion into their state constitution and legalized weed: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Michigan_Proposal_3 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018_Michigan_Proposal_1 Would like to see the crosstabs here. How many people voted for abortion but against weed or vice versa. 19 hours ago, VOSS said: I hope they decide to follow MTG’s lead on the abortion issue 19 hours ago, VOSS said: Literally obsessed with how they refuse to get it. No matter how many times they lose, they refuse to get it. I thought MTG was onto something at first with her "how we approach it" take, but then it went down hill. The truth is, it is about how Republicans approach abortion. They just should not approach it at all. Abortion is not a political issue, it is a personal healthcare issue that no one should put their noses into. If the GOP wants to hate abortion, they have the right to, but keep it to yourselves. Do not like abortion? Do not get an abortion. Simple. These people will continue to lose because the average voter, and the average woman for that matter, do not view abortion as a moral or religious choice the way right wingers do. They view it as a "I can control my body" issue. It is really that simple. Edited November 9, 2023 by Sannie 1

Even if you try to approach the issue of abortion with nuance most likely voters will hear you hate abortion and say no to you automatically. It is a losing issue move on. I mean realistically I don’t want them to move on because I love them losing so often. Literally hammer democrats on the economy and spending to the public and the borders and other issues that get the right, moderates, and moderate dems most concerned and you will win so many elections so easily 💀 And give up the culture wars too. They turn people off and these days even if it gets clicks online it’s not translating to votes nearly as much. Move on. Otherwise, I guess keep enjoying punishment.

It is insane how Republicans are so bad that even people who do not really like the Dems are being forced to vote for them just because of how afraid they are of Republican crazies.
