This is why I tell everyone to stop looking too far into 2024 presidential election polls. There's a difference between polling and actually voting. It is WAY too early. Do you think marijuana being legalized in Ohio will help a presidential candidate who doesn't support marijuana legalization win the state?

Nearly every Republican running used the "BIG SCARY SOCIALIST BIDEN" angle to try and scare people to vote for them. It did not work. I do not think this translates to anything substantial in 2024, but Dems doing as good as they did is good news overall. 1
If U Seek Amy Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Yeah Biden certainly won't take Ohio without a miracle. That isn't needed at all though for him to win. Regardless though, any doom speak on Biden losing also is clearly a moot point for now regardless of what polls say. Dems have continued to do very well since his inauguration regardless of any bad looking polling in many places. Even if they are unpopular it will continue that many Republicans are even more unpopular.
GhostBox Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Great night for Dems 👏🏼 Mississippi was a reach so not too disappointed with that one. 4

Everything he gets involved in fails. I hate this creep so much, and it’s hilarious how much republicans love him, cuz everywhere he goes, his party looses 1

Mike91 Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 I said it last year and I'll repeat it this year, there's a ZERO percent chance that the GOP win the presidency or any swing state election next year. Doesn't matter if people like Biden or not. People aren't voting for the candidate at the moment. 1

States like MI, PA, WI, and MN have all trended much more blue since 2020 all because of the GOP's extremist policies. I do not see that suddenly changing after what we have seen. I do not see Biden winning AZ or GA again, though he does not need those with the rust belt.
Sannie Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 NYT has called PA Supreme Court race for the Dem. Literally SLAYING. 4

Unless something changes currently I do not see him winning AZ or GA again. But his strength in the blue wall is so good he may be fine without it even unpopular. If a conviction happens for Trump especially rip

This will be the biggest disaster from public outrage regardless of who they choose. While I don't want it I can't say it wouldn't be fascinating to watch
Bears01 Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Democrats kinda SLAYED tonight, I can’t lie. This was a HUGELY important race too, only place they kinda underperformed (but did good enough anyway) was VA Senate 2
Sannie Posted November 8, 2023 Posted November 8, 2023 Literally the best case scenario happened tonight. Holy. *******. ****. 2 1
