She still has 2 1B songs under her belt, one more than AGBW, and you all will deal despite shifting the goalposts constantly. 9 hours ago, Eunwol said: Do you hate ballads? Does everyone hate ballads on here? Dance pop gets annoying quickly... Ballads are timeless. The users on this website are tasteless and only stan 2010'd dance pop, that's why they rarely stan people who can actually sing. 2
itsdennis Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 I love Christina and she can sing, but lbr, that's not enough to become a legend, which she obviously isn't. Most of her music is mediocre and forgotten by the GP and the 2b song aren't even hers. But I guess the fans need something to shade more successful pop stars. I'm glad she's doing her own thing and is in control of her career and hopes she comes with better music one day 4 1 1
lovemehateme Posted November 4, 2023 Posted November 4, 2023 Good for her. In a decade Genie will get there too. 2

I mean, even Celine Dion's "I'm Alive" (which didn't chart on Hot 100) has same daily streams with the global "Beautiful". but celine dion is a certified musical legend. christina is an oreo seller who occasionally dabs into ringtones and jingles 1

I ain't fuming love, you saying that there's only a chart that matters for Latin artists when Karol G LITERALLY scored a No.1 album in the BB200 and Bad Bunny and Shakira are breaking records back and forth gives consolation prize vibes for you and your fanbase. The truth is Xtina thought she could get a bit of the Latin wave and people paid her dust. I feel like this has been discussed but xtina ain’t chasing no Latin wave by putting out guaracha and ranchera songs…I mean unless you think all Latin music is the same

Yes, they did that which is why they don't have another 1 billion streamed song unlike Xtina. Xtina doesn't have another billion streamed song either, Maroon 5 does. 3

I love the way she sings. Her tone is beautiful, and her voice has got so much power, yet so much sensitivity — and technically, I think, she’s flawless. I remember she broke onto the scene at the turn of the millennium, just about the time my husband and I were going to take a hiatus to have our first child, so I got to watch a lot of her TV appearances, especially on the award shows. I remember thinking, This girl’s got it all and then some! Unbelievable voice, great dancer and so very beautiful. At that time, I didn’t realize how versatile she was, but over the years she has proved that she can sing anything and make it sound incredible: pop, soul, R&B and even country. Without a doubt, she’s one of the most talented artists the world has ever seen and heard, and I think she’s going to continue to amaze us for many, many years to come. Dion, a five-time Grammy Award–winning singer, has sold more than 220 million albums worldwide I hold Celine Dion’s opinion highly over yours, a random gay guy on a pop forum 3
Bradphord Posted November 6, 2023 Posted November 6, 2023 Y'all need to take a moment and think about bothers you so much that people can appreciate her and her voice. Nobody cared about "solo" hits until her 2010s collabs, specifically, got big. The effort spent undermining her achievements, when she actually writes, produces, composes (and sing!) is embarrassing. 1
